Better than gold

OK, some of you know that I live in paradise, um SW FL. However, I am actually located very close to Fort Myers, FL (Cape Coral to be exact). What many newcomers don't know, is FM was the home to many training mission for WWII flying aces.

As some things are bound to go awry, planes crash, and unfortunately lives can be lost. However, sometimes, such tragedies can yield something positive. Such as this really cool story on the New Press . The plane found by TBT@J might alleviate some old misconceptions from the Navy.
